That much posturing and fist waving is a strong indication that the fireworks are not ready to light off yet. Now is the time to end North Korea.

I think every journalist thins every missile is ballistic without really knowing what that means.

I loved Gabby Hayes! If I lose a few more teeth, I’ll be able to talk just like him!

Recent tests have shown that many 80s and 90s computerized vehicles are actually far more resistant to HERF and EMP events than previously thought. Seems the bodywork and early “we’re not really sure what kind of interference issues we’re going to have so double the shielding” designs are quite a bit better than had been anticipated. This is why police have not installed HERF devices on cruisers or as standalone devices to stop high speed pursuits.

Japan’s Chief Cabinet Sec. just said the missile fell into the Sae Of Japan but out of their EEZ zone . So it was not directed at China .

“Put it in a Faraday cage.”

Go to Salvation Army and pick up a couple of microwave ovens to put in your basement to store spare electronics in. (Don’t plug them in.)

So, take him out, or hope he hits Japan first, and the UN does something?

BTW, Iran is up to something too, “blatant” breaking of their ironclad agreement with Obama.

how about China directed the missile to be fired over China rather than the water where it might have been shot down.

I read a microwave oven acts as a Faraday Cage.

Correction...
It appears the missile was launched northwest of the normal locations so SIGINT assumed China launch path. Radar now shows it went East.

= = =

It will be safe from chickens.

But this EMP stuff can leak through holes, depending on the frequency, and size of hole.

That said, any more and I am out of my element.

Some major network (can’t google up which one) took a car to China Lake CA to expose it to some microwave type energy to test a home brewed device with weapon potential.

So they got a rental car. Flew in, needed a car, right? They got a Corvette. The device killed the engine of the car as it sat running.

OOOOh. Baaaaad.

Fiberglass.

I know. I read the book a few years ago and bought copies for families and friends.

More FReepers should read it since the outcome of an EMP strike is well depicted in this book

Doesn't work. Tested it. Had an old microwave, cut the cord, put my cell phone in it, and had someone dial me.

RING RING RING
