Do police dogs really know what guns are and what they can do?
I wonder if Kasper the police dog’s surgery is being covered by Obamacare, or whether he has a superior health plan than much of the public like many of his fellow government employees.
woof woof
My cat would push me in front.
Plus that’s not obama’s son.
What the heck’s up with FL?
Got a bad white element down there?
I’m the bad white element up here :)
Good dog.
Prayers up for Kasper. German Shepherds are the greatest.
Do you have a dog?
Prayers for Kasper. May the culprit rot in hell.
So your cat really knows you.
Hehe.
We’re oraying for you, Kasper . . .C’mon, Pal, you can do it!!
Hope he walks OK.If not probably going out with a good medical pension too.
When I ask a legitimate question and all anyone can come up with is another question...I give up. Just forget it.
Good boy!
“Do police dogs really know what guns are and what they can do?
Do you have a dog? “
My experience with a lifetime of having dogs as companions is that they sense dangerous situations that we don’t because of their advanced sense of smell and hearing. You couple that with their attachment to their human benefactors and I believe that that’s why they react to situations they perceive as dangerous.
ROFL!
He knows I’d push him if he didn’t push me first!
Interesting question.
I used to drive my cat crazy by playing cats meowing on my cell phone out loud.
He would look all over for them, at the windows, in all the rooms.
Now he just comes in, sees me holding the phone and walks away.
I KNOW he doesn’t know how the phone works or how I get that sound to come out.
But he knows it’s not cats that are in the vicinity.
Odd.
Have you ever milked a goat?
Nanny or Billy?
Lol
Afghanistan or Arkansas?
“PBSO K-9 Officer Kasper took a bullet in the gunfire that was meant for his partner,”
I think shepherds are great, but the article didn’t explain how the dog was hit. The only part of the article that even referenced what the dog was doing was the caption under the picture which read: “Palm Beach County Sheriff’s K-9 Officer Kasper was shot protecting his partner, the sheriff said.” Okay, how?
I think these animals do a great service to the citizens of this country whether it be in law enforcement or on the battlefield, but it angers me that a news source trying to sensationalize the animal is not the way to appreciate them. Stay with the facts. If he did step between his master and the shooter intentionally, then say so and explain what happened. If the dog was hit during the firefight, then say so.
I appreciate the dog being there to do his part for us. But I hate the media to capitalize on it to sell their sponsor’s crap.
