Dang that thing called work. Gets in the way of good times, doesn’t it? But there’s tomorrow to look forward to. :-)
Been a busy week here with TOO MANY EARLY WAKE-UP CALLS! It’s killin’ me! LOL! But it’s been pretty good. Got Arabelle and Shags to the vet for their surgeries and kept close tabs on them last night. Got everything set up yesterday for the Republican women’s group’s rummage sale and worked there today. Will be there again tomorrow morning.
Willow began to open her eyes Wed., which surprised me. Never had a kitten open at 7 days before. The other three haven’t started opening theirs yet but should over the weekend. Little girlies are growing fast.

Silly girl....I can’t wait to sleep in in the morning.
24 hour care for 2 more days, then starting Monday 7a to 7p.
Tomorrow I will go get Mom’s petunias (which I’ve told her for 2 weeks now) and she can start on her deck garden. She saw a sign that said big sale on bedding plants and I should go really early so as not to miss the best plants. I will NOT be going early.

Nope. No reason,n really, to get there early. There’ll be petunias there and if they aren’t the best plants, oh well. As long as they’re alive, that’s all that counts. They’ll give your mom something to play with and she can turn them into the best plants. :-)
I’m dyin’ with all the early mornings this week. LOL! You know I don’t like to see sunshine before noon unless it’s started before I get to bed. One more day and life gets back to normal. WHEW!

My day was great! Puttered around some, had company for a bit and went to eat with them and had a nice nap.
How was your day? Hope the weather is finally warming up for you! Supposed to be downright hot here over the weekend. Ugh!

I’m thinking of getting a pellet gun to keep the Canadian geese out of the back yard. Ducks are ok, but the geese are nasty and leave horrible deposits.

Your day sounds quite nice! Nice and relaxing, and fun. Bummer that the weekend weather is going to be so hot. Won't want to get out and about in that. :-(
It was a busy day here, working our annual rummage sale. Had a good turnout and sold a lot of stuff. We were supposed to get rain today but it held off until early evening. It's just been drizzling since.
We had hot days early in the week but cooled off to low 70s today. 70s for the next few days, then 80s again. Not too bad.
Daughter and I just went out to brunch and hung out at her place for awhile this past Sunday.
She and her Mom are in Scotland as we speak.
