"Gentlemen, you can't fight in here! This is the War Room."
It is a good bet that Washington Post reporters Carol Morello and Greg Miller probably had the movie Dr. Strangelove on their minds either conciously or unconciously when they wrote their May 10 story/fantasy about the possibility that a Russian photographer could have planted a surveillance device in the White House Oval Office during a meeting there between President Donald Trump and Russian diplomats. Before we get to the reporters summoning up their inner General Buck Turgidson, let us revisit the Dr. Strangelove War Room scene in which Russian ambassador Alexi de Sadesky attempts to secretly take photos with a hidden camera.

Like I’m sure the washington post cares about this
Every time we think that the WaPo has reached the lowest limit of measurable intelligence, they manage to once again lower that limit.
They were never concerned about Iranian/Muslim Brotherhood listening devices and/or spies in the White House.
Why would the Russians need to plant a bug if the accusations of the Democrats are true and that Trump is a Russian agent?
They didn’t need any hidden devices...They were informed of everything that went on during the Obama administration probably...
The public knows this very well. Especially since July 2016, when WikiLeaks exposed the Establishment Media as "joined at the hip" with the Democratic National Committee--essentially the 21st Century version of the Soviet Union-era Pravda.
As government employees, did they record all of their emails as required?
I worry more about the lies from the old media empire fed to the gullible public.
MCHARTHITE DEMS PAPER OF RECORD THE FEAR OF RUSSIA THEY WALKED ALL OVER OBAMA
Lol, if Trump was a pocket Russian.... why would they need to send a spy in with listening devices? WashPo has failed in basic logic.
Geezus. What morons.
Anything is possible but, it is highly improbable there electronic bugs in the Oval Office.
1st. There are plenty of people in the Oval Office when anyone visits, making it it highly improbable they could plant a bug, as they are constantly being watched....unless they are David Copperfield.
2nd. So, David Copperfield does actually visit the Oval office and successfully plants a bug. How long is it suppose to operate?
It would be tiny and have a very limited battery to supply energy.
It would also have to transmit and being so small and probably not with an antenna of sufficient gain, it probably wouldn’t transmit more than 50 feet...at best.
It would also suffer from being underpowered and poor placement would impair the microphone
Not forgetting the Oval Office is a giant faraday cage designed to mitigate over the air transmissions out of the Oval.
Ever see Oceans 13 or any other gambling movie where they use thise “Eye in the Sky” cameras? Yeah, they probably watch real time and review them to ensure the Oval Office isnt being compromised
And, I’m sure they sweep the place for bugs as well.
Stupid hypotheses....
I believe there are “Listening Devices” in the White House planted there to monitor preisdent Trump and his staff.
And you can bet they were planted there by democrats before the Obamas left the building.
I said it back in January; before Trump moved in he should have had a private security firm check the premises for “listening devices” hidden computer monitors, etc.
After 8 years of Obama I wouldn’t even trust the FBI or Secret Service to make sure the premises were clean.
>>Why would the Russians need to plant a bug if the accusations of the Democrats are true and that Trump is a Russian agent?<<
Don’t forget that you are talking about Liberals. Logic and consistency are unknown concepts to them. Along with morality, honesty and child molesting/child abuse.
Actually I would worry more about Soros’s listening devices in the White House.
For sure. Perhaps we need to be more concerned about Washington Post listening devices in the WH.
But they don’t seem too concerned about communist writing devices at the Washington compost ...
I wish they’d shown as much concern when Obama was transferring a billion dollars in hard cash to the Iranians in the dead of night.
