Ummm, the President didn’t go outside the Constitution ... it’s legal for Trump to fire people who work for him.
I can imagine that the harpies on “The (Leftist) View” must have had a collective case of “the vapors” over Comey Firing.
On the other hand, Rush was in a particularly jovial mood over the whole affair this morning.

When Loretta Lynch saw Slick Willey at the airport, that compromised her position as Attorney General in determining whether to prosecute Hillary with the available evidence. In comes Comey. He illegally took over her position in the case as the self appointed Attorney General. When he gave his determination that Hillary had no intent in breaking the law, that was illegal because that is the role of Loretta Lynch or her United States Deputy Attorney General if she had to recuse herself. She had no authority to hand that over to Comey. What she did was illegal.
When Comey took his role as Attorney General, this gave him the power to take advantage of it for political purposes. What he did was cull favor with the next President of the United States. This he did by illegally closing the case because there was no proof that Hillary had intent in breaking the law. The use of intent to excuse Hillary was not according to law. He put his money on Hillary and that was a very bad bet. If she became President, all of Comey’s illegal shenanigans would have flew with no repercussions. He would have been a hero for protecting Hillary from the “inquisition.” He was an illustration of the criminal culture that is deep with the Democrats.

You forgot that just before the election it became obvious that Hillary would lose. So Comey decided that new evidence had come to light and he would re-open the case.
Comey expected that this would endear him to the soon to be President Trump.
