The Hill ^

Posted on 05/10/2017 12:24:28 PM PDT by fision

Three Republicans joined Senate Democrats on Wednesday to reject an effort to overturn an Obama administration rule limiting methane emissions from oil and natural gas drilling.

Only 49 senators voted to move forward with debate on legislation to undo the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) rule, short of the 51 votes needed.

Republican Sens. Lindsey Graham (S.C.), Susan Collins (Maine) and John McCain (Ariz.) joined all 48 members of the Democratic caucus in rejecting the resolution under the Congressional Review Act (CRA).

Quite true. Most are Democrat sympathizers, at the very least.

They can’t as he was just re-elected for 6 more years. The only thing that will take McNuts away from “his” seat is a far higher order than that of the ballot box.

Again - what is the point of carrying the “R” next to your name if you are going to betray your party (and your country) at every available opportunity????

McCain has been helping ISIS and, along with Hillary, covering for munitions smuggling to terrorists. He needs to be arrested for his crimes. How many people has he gotten killed by his anti-American actions?

The removal of two of them will never happen. Long after they are dead and buried, the Republicans of South Carolina and Arizona will exhume the bodies of Lindsey Graham and John McCain in order to vote for elect them to the Senate one more time. What the Republicans of Arizona and South Carolina have against the United States will never be known, but it is one hell of a grudge.

This is a resolution not a law so the Senate can go screw themselves. Since Obama just made up the rule, Trump can make up his own to counter it.

What was done was to stop debate on a resolution overturning the rule, so not much has changed. No great victory for environmentalists or Democrats either though the Fake News will try and make it appear so.

Well, there's a shock.

Trump's new FBI director needs to hand him McCain's file and start playing hardball with this idiot.
