THAT is what I hope, as well. Trump seems to be giving Ivanka a romper room with all bright, shiny things to play with, but so far..... I hope, I hope,.... he has (after 100 plus days) ignored her and her issues and just paid for the plane rides to fatten her resume with international women and leaders. GHACK! And which is embarrassing America.
I know that he knows his base is composed of only a few drone-zombie, stupid sycophants, like the Marxist/Obama crowd. Show these banana heads a little leg and cleavage and they think she is a genius.
Ivanka runs, literally, with the MAXINE WATERS face of the NYC media elites and has nothing to say to these same lathered up photo chiefs around here, slobbering over her basket ball player’s gait and physical appearance, which is exclusively purchased at high end salons— the kind who would throw up if they walked in. Period.
This means, yes, Ivanka is pals with the blonde version of MAXINE WATERS, who is Mika Brezinsky, and Mika’s daffy issues of women abuse and climate abuse and earth abuse and diet abuse, and the my-heels-are-higher-than-your-heels set, et cetera, et cetera.
It’s possible Trump’s base gets a belly full and it begins to risk causing him real trouble in his polling. The Left and Mika & Joe need his numbers to fall into the 30’s and stay there. JIvanka may accomplish that given the time.
And those who moon over the way Ivanka looks ( also Melania, but apparently, from the posts here, not as much )and therefore somehow assume that she is "brilliant" or even can do anything and everything, are likewise delusional. Though polite, she would no more associate with any of them, than can she fly to the moon, with her neatly hidden fairy wings!
She comes from a completely different world, which not a one of them knows much, if anything at all, about and they need to get over the silly obsession they have with her!
She has admitted, over and over again, that she has tried to influence and correct her father. She failed, re his tweeting, but DID succeed in having him commend her and babble on about her crazy/ditzy day care plan and a couple of other such crap. So, sadly, he is NOT completely immune to her attempts at converting him to her lefty positions.
This CLIMATE CHANGE/Paris Accord garbage is dangerous; VERY dangerous to his presidency...from both his opposition foes and a great many of his staunchest supporters!
Two of her "dearest" BFF are Chelsea Clinton and Georgian Bloomberg! Everyone knows more than enough about Chels, so I'll just write a couple or 3 things about Georgiana.
Georgiana Bloomberg, the daughter of crazy ex-Mayor of NYC, is as far left as her father, has led an extremely privileged and louche life, is the UNWED mother of a small boy, who does NOT "believe" in marriage. Her "career" ? She RIDES HORSES IN CONTESTS; no NOT in Olympics...in contests that only a few people have even heard about.
O’ Gawd, I can not get it to stay in my head that truly and for real that ditzy Chesea is actually a “close” friend to Ivanka.
You refreshed my memory of Georgiana’s hilarious uselessness, with the horsey riding thing. I do remember reading about that in the past.
I agree fully on the Paris Schmooze Show and the Climate power grab of the elites. That religion is the END gate, universally. There is no good ending for a serfdom.

And I do NOT want to hear, from uniformed, biased posters, that there never were and still aren't ANY GOPers and/or Conservatives, in that social strata, in NYC; THERE WERE AND STILL ARE! There are lots of extremely wealthy people, whom the vast majority of people here have NEVER heard of/don't know of. And they even exist in other deep blue major cities too.
Oh, good grief, not Mark! Yikes! Another not to bright millennial propped up by wife and family name (even infamous), position, inheritance and connections. What a foursome.. Chelsea and Mark, Ivanka and Jared. Between the four, could they change a light bulb?

Not much national publicity on the Paris Hilton & Ivanka party scene. I didn’t know that.
There's no doubt that Ivanka isn't conservative—certainly not like her father—but I think it's extremely unlikely that she will have any appreciable effect on her father's position on the Paris Accord.
Handing Ivanka this "assignment", to my mind, is just the sort of "busy work" that Ivanka should be involved in (if she's to be involved in anything at all)—something that lets her indulge her "progressive" impulses while keeping her neatly out of the way from having any significant on the creation of conservative policy.
I guess we'll have to wait for Ivanka's "report" to see if she'll be able to influence the Trump administration in any way regarding the "Paris climate change agreement".
I don't expect any tangible deviation from what the President stated during the campaign: that the US will withdraw entirely from this climate agreement, in a rejection of its core tenets. Given what's been occurring with the EPA, that's where my money is...

President's wives have ALWAYS had their ears; however, children and other relations need to be out of the picture completely! It looks bad and usually ( HILLARYCARE, anyone; Michelle's insane lunch program ? )turns into a disaster.
Your opinion is the same as my own, and the deep state fighting Trump just makes me believe it even more, and shows what little power a president really has if he’s not a puppet of the elite. Our entire gov is infected.

You clearly assume something, to so stridently oppose the involvement of these two individuals in the Trump administration—absent evidence of any nefarious influence thus far.
By all accounts, Jared Kushner was integral to the success of his father-in-law's campaign last year. I don't think he now holds the position he does in the administration simply because he's Ivanka's husband.
As for Ivanka, she should hold whatever position in her father's administration which he feels she can competently perform. While not perfect, I trust the President's judgement on his staffing, based on what I've seen so far.
There aren't many people in Washington that the President can trust. Why should it come as any surprise that he would include his daughter—someone he's obviously very close to and who he's comfortable with—in his administration?
Even if Ivanka serves no other purpose, at least the President can hear contrasting viewpoints from a friendly and sincere source.
Thus far, President Trump has shown a strong tendency—indeed, an overwhelming one, for good or ill—to be his own man, including being able to resist the wheedling of his daughter.
Based on the facts I've seen thus far, I have no dogmatic belief that Ivanka should be either in or out of the Trump administration, so I'm willing to defer to the President's judgement on this point, because he should have precisely the advisors he wants, presuming the appropriate security requirements can be met.
Obviously you feel very strongly about your opinion, but I see no reason why expressing a differing opinion—on this particular issue—should elicit any hostility.
