Well...like the great mayor of London said...we’re just gonna have to get used to violence in city life...
Thanks England....
He had worked as a security guard, probably at one of the hospitals or offices where one or both of them worked.
“Bampumim Teixeira, an immigrant from West Africa”
What I wanted to know is how does a West African immigrant get a Spanish/Portuguese name like Teixeira? It turns out he’s from Guinea-Bissau and moved with an aunt who raised him to Cape Verde so he grew up speaking Portuguese (or at least a creole version). They then moved to Boston - which has a large Portuguese speaking community from Portugal and Brazil.
I bet what happened is Dr. Lina Bolanos had a relationship of some sort with Teixeira. She was an immigrant from Colombia. They probably met at some sort of Hispanic/Portuguese cultural event. According to media reports photos were cut up at the murder scene. I bet Teixeira was cutting up “happy couple photos” from Fields and Bolanos.

Juniper Networks executive identified as victim in San Jose murder
Killed by someone with long rap sheet but was on street.
He’d only been out of prison 3 weeks, too.
Your idea that the killer initially came in contact with the male doctor who was in “pain management” seems quite likely as such specialists usually try and get their patients off the opioids as possible.
Not to speak ill of the dead, but I wonder if he was their dealer.
I suspect if the deceased Bolanos had some relationship with
the killer Teixeira, it was drug related. He’s way too homely to see paired up with her in some personal sense.
Drugs are bad
It's just a hunch on my part.Having worked for years in a big city ER I have more stories than I can count about ugly scenes caused by patients (often addicts) demanding pain meds. And yes, responsible physicians and surgeons always strive to keep narcotic prescriptions down to a minimum time span...and lowest possible dosage.
His Immigration status is not being reported. But his prior convictions would be cause for Deportation. However, a Lib Masshole Judge downgraded a bank robbery from a Felony to a Misdemeanor so he would not get deported.
Possible but unlikely....highly unlikely,in fact.I say highly unlikely as one who knows Boston medicine well (25 years employed at one of Boston's major hospitals) and, having checked his credentials, there's no way that he couldn't make a *damn* good living in this city ($500K/yr or more) without being a "Doctor Feelgood".
That's my hunch...based,to a degree,on experience...but I could be wrong.
So, chances are he was in the country illegally, just robbing the banks and killing the doctors that Americans wouldn’t.
