The EPA just buried its climate change website for kids
The Washington Post ^ | 5/6/2017 | Juliet Eilperin

The Environmental Protection Agency has sidelined a website aimed at teaching schoolchildren about climate change, a public watchdog group has determined, as part of the agency’s efforts to align online content with the new administration’s values.

When the EPA announced on April 28 that its site was “undergoing changes that reflect the agency’s new direction under President Donald Trump and Administrator Scott Pruitt,” it pointed to a snapshot of the website as it looked on Jan. 19, the day before Trump took office.

While it made it clear that this snapshot would not be updated, the idea was to allow the public to see what was being changed under the new administration.

Like the teacher's unions will ever let that happen.

>>a website aimed at teaching schoolchildren about climate change

Stop lying to children. The watermelon environmentalists told 2nd grade me in 1970 that we would have no oil by the time I was 30 and that we would probably starve to death if the ice age didn’t kill us first.

Lying to children is all they’ve got. Time to end that.

I’m sure it showed lots of dying polar bears and cartoon trees crying over their lost loved ones. All the fault of Republicans of course. Nothing political about it.

Instead of “sidelining” wouldn’t it be better just to change it to tell the truth, that the sun is the elephant in the climate room?

Good, it’s time for the children to learn REAL science, not journo-list first grade crap.

A good many of us with actual creditable doctorates are more than ready to clean, slice, eviscerate, and throw to the dogs all those idiots who seem to have no knowledge of math beyond the fifth grade and physics beyond Plato. I’m talkin’ to you, manbearpig, el fat actor-o, and Bill Nye, the non science guy.

Well, the problem with this is that the snapshot heavily promotes climate change.

An example of how the deep state is sabotaging DJT’s efforts to bring sanity back to science.

Fire the traitors behind this idea and replace them with real scientists.

Nearly 800 people were murdered in Chicago last year, while no one there died of CO2 poisoning. It looks as though the Democrats who run the city would be concentrating on solving the murder problem, instead of trying to change the climate of the earth.

Indoctrination at an early age and at our expense.

Thank you, President Trump.

They should revamp the kid’s web site. Show the hundreds of billions of dollars spent to (maybe) reduce the globe’s average temperature by 0.1 degree ONE HUNDRED YEARS from now. Then ask the kiddies how might that money that was wasted be better spent - education, clean water for people around the world. Show them how this hoax / boondoggle is enriching fake “researchers” at the expense of really needy people around the world.
