We are going nowhere. Not in a 100 or a 1000 or 10,000 years. This is our berg until we are not.

I’ve lost interest in his ‘predictions/forecasts.’ He seems to always be focused on ‘gloom and doom.’

This guy has been turning into a real nutjob over the past couple of years. The only time you hear from him is when he’s worrying about aliens killing us or telling us that we have to leave the planet in 100 years.

Liberals adjust these types of doomsday clocks by simply subtracting seconds proportionate to the amount of socialists that are booted out of office.

I have been enjoying reading a lot of Science Fiction lately and was especially intrigued by the “Three Body Problem” trilogy. Almost uniformly the authors that have covered this subject point out that once humanity has become divided yet again by a new axis of division. “Up Well” vs “Down Well” the same thing will ultimately result as has every other division of humanity.
It seems to me a powerful argument can be made that “getting off this planet” could actually be the mistake that ends humanity rather than saves it. In several ways, the least of which it could bring us into competition with a consciousness that would have remained unaware of our existence and would also be hostile. In truth, it would likely cause inequities that humans would use to rationalize the murderous behavior we seem to all to happily engage in as a group but abhor as individuals.

You heard the man a single human lifetime. Is this nerd serious? What a rocket scientist!
If I'm not mistaken everyone will be evacuating the planet in one human lifetime (their own). Therefore choose wisely where you will be traveling to next. Eternity is a long time.

Has been turning? He’s a puppet with a liberal voice impressionist. See the Twilight Zone episode with Cliff Robertson.

I can’t take credit for it, but some clever Freeper referred to him as ‘Davros’. (It’s a Dr. Who thing.)

He may be a genius of epic proportions, but living with his infirmities for all these years has to have had an effect on how parts of his mind work.
He pretty much declared us extinct.
