The House of Representatives passed a $1 trillion spending bill Wednesday afternoon, crossing off a major item on lawmakers' to-do list before they begin an 11-day recess.
The bill -- which passed by a 309-118 margin, with four members abstaining -- is written to fund the government through September and includes a $15 billion increase in funding for the military. The spending bill also contains $1.5 billion for border security, but leaves out funding for the physical border wall that President Donald Trump wants to be built on the U.S.-Mexico border. It also doesn't block funding for Planned Parenthood or sanctuary cities.
Trump touted the bill Tuesday as a "clear win" for the American people, hours after he suggested that Washington needs a "good 'shutdown'" in September.

Stabbed in the back AGAIN!
(R)s have the freaking MAJORITY!!
I would ask “how did this happen?” but we all know how it happened.
F ‘em all, including Trump.
Trump’s happy. Chuck U. is happy. The entire DC Uniparty establishment is happy.
Conservatives? Well, we’re f——d.
Disgusting. A loser for America and many Americans. Same old same ‘o’. Kick the can down the road and avoid any intelligent program.
Woe is me, they passed a 5 month spending bill and I did not get everything I wanted. Yet the wall is being built at this very moment. Snowflake much?
It’s been dead for awhile. All of these establishment conservatives in DC and the media have played us all for fools.
The REAL battle starts in September. Stay tuned for 6-D chess.
I would be very interested in getting the names of those 118 who voted ‘Nay’. They deserve to be commended.
The GOPs official motto: Next time!
+1.
Doesn’t it get old reading all these “we are doomed” teeth gnashers?
I wonder what the breakdown is D vs. R on the "Nay" votes?
before they begin an 11-day recess

Didn’t they just have most of April off?
And isn’t this actually Obama’s last budget and not Trumps?
Knowing that will tell us all we need to know. If they are all GOP, we know the Democrats loved this bill.
I don’t know if you can say this is fully obumbers budget. It was his responsibility, but he never took his responsibilities to America seriously. Trump is in the big seat now. If you have not seen this, you should. Go to youtube and find Mulvaneys press briefing from yesterday. I tend to believe the Trump administration more then the msm or talking heads. Unlike like some of the lily liveried snowflakes posting to this thread and others.

” as 103 Republicans voted against it. “
There you go. This was almost 100% voted for by Democrats. This is therefore a Democratic bill.
Disgusting.
Where is there competing bill?
