You are probably right, but a NK that wasn’t a constant threat to SK, and removal of the DMZ and all the NK weaponry there would definitely be a positive step. Then it would be for the NK populace to finally figure out that they’ve been screwed by the Kims for almost a century and take “corrective” action. NK needs to have an East Germany “moment.” Say like a day or two shopping in Seoul.
I wouldn’t bet against it, having witnessed the incredible impossible fall of the USSR.
But regardless, just watching President Trump bellow at every chance to world leaders about the need to reunite the Korean Peninsula after taking out the ‘Jong’ will have the PRC Chinese sh*tting bricks 24/7.
And somehow I get this tingle of my Matthews just to think how the PRC commies will be constipated with rage just hearing it around the world that the USA is leading a consortium of nations, especially Japan, Malaysia, Thailand, and ahem Taiwan, and all of the Pacific Rim, to focus on Korean reunification.
Talk about dominating the news cycle. The Japanese alone will be estatic and the South Koreans will be beaming nonstop.
