Theres a lot I dont know about how government works and how things get done, but I feel I know enough now that I can be much more proactive about the type of change and reform that Id like to see happen, she said. [snip] In interviews last week, she said she intended to act as a moderating force in an administration swept into office by nationalist sentiment. Other officials added that she had weighed in on topics including climate, deportation, education and refugee policy.

"No Balls At All"
We didn’t vote for a New York liberal to “ moderate” our nationalism
GET HER OUT of the WHITE HOUSE
And take her little dog too ( JAMIE Freaking Gorelick)
Reading The NY Times? Enough said
CITE THOSE INTERVIEWS !
Ivanka and Jared were both interviewed for the article.
You are either a troll or a fool. You post a New York Times hit piece and say that you are done?
LOL
If you were done you wouldn’t be here posting this crap.
We know with absolute certainty the NYT published precisely what Ivanka and Jared said. They are, after all, the paper of record.
I did not vote for Ivanka’s moderating influence.
I voted for deporting ALL illegal aliens.
I voted for ending the illegal DACA program.
I voted for a wall.
I voted for staying out of the Syrian war.
I voted for repealing Obamacare.
I voted for cutting taxes and regulations.
I voted for what Donald Trump ran on, not what his daughter wants.

(2) public official means an officer (including the President and a Member of Congress)
(b) A public official may not appoint, employ, promote, advance, or advocate for appointment, employment, promotion, or advancement, in or to a civilian position in the agency in which he is serving or over which he exercises jurisdiction or control any individual who is a relative of the public official.
My big concern with her in there is that she and her husband have views that would fit in better with a Democrat administration. If my father was President, for example, he and I agree on many issues, so if I was his advisor, I wouldn’t be pulling him in a direction away from his base. I worry she is pulling him in a direction that is away from his base and will not get him any Democrat support or MSM support. It will just cost him voters.
I refuse to blame Ivanka or Jared for anything. Trump’s a big boy. The buck stops at his desk.
Disrespectful twerp. Shut mouth and swallow. Saves on the electric bill.
“Ivanka and Jared were both interviewed for the article.”
Puleeze. A NYSlimes article? That bastion of progressive BS?
Agreed.
AND
They either influence policy or they don’t. Either way, they have no business in the White House.
Meetings with Planned Parenthood and the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce to presumably push comprehensive immigration reform? Not good.
Where else do you expect Manhattan liberals to be interviewed?
Well said.
