This wasn’t Trumps budget - that will come in September.
This was a CR. It’s really easy for the Dems to sing about this and for media to promote this as a “budget” but it’s not a budget.
How many times has Trump been misunderestmated?
At the start if the 2016 campaign, I supported Cruz -- but I switched almost immediately to Trump, and I never looked back. I have supported him 100% since then, cutting him slack wherever it seemed needed, because I knew he was the right man and that he faced an army of opponents.
But I have been disappointed. I'm prepared to wait until Sept. But President Trump and the Republicans need to stop pushing the Democrat agenda. They need to score some victories for the voters who put them in office. I'm not prepared to cut them some slack forever.
Please, don't let truth and logic get in the way of the good old chicken little hissy fit that a number of people here are having today. It's much more fun to complain than to try to understand and wait a bit to get what you want.
