[[Prosecutors describe her actions as deserving of “severe punishment,” but she was sentenced to just two years in prison. According to an analysis by Fordham University, Americans who are prosecuted for ISIS-related cases received on average 13.5 years in prison.]]
She should have been hanged for treason
Just doing “undercover” work for her new book. And they even gave her a nice secluded place to work on it..... /s
She might have been a triple agent.
Spying for us. Then spying for ISIS, but really still spying for us on ISIS. -tom
Indeed. Instead, she was sentenced to 2 years in prison, and has been released. I suppose it’s possible she did the 2 years, as the article I read said that she returned in 2014.
She currently fears for her life and is working as a hostess in a lounge that is in a hotel.
Oh, and she had a husband already when she ran off to marry this charmer.
(I did a duckduckgo search on this story and learned the above information, as I did not want to click on the link.)
Two stinking years for treason. Unbelievable. I am betting that she was given many breaks because she is a female.
So she was ‘under cover’ - maybe??
The genital mutilation was the last straw.
