Fox News co-president Bill Shine is out at Fox News. The move comes as Shine was due back on Monday after two days out of the office for a pre-planned long weekend.
Rupert Murdoch, 21st Century Fox and Fox News executive chairman, made the announcement on Monday via a brief email to Fox News staffers.
"Sadly, Bill Shine resigned today," wrote Murdoch. "I know Bill was respected and liked by everybody at Fox News. We will all miss him."Shine has been accused of covering up incidents of sexual harassment of Roger Ailes, his former boss, who was ousted from the network last summer after Gretchen Carlson's lawsuit against him.

The Murdoch LIBTARD sons have wanted a female in Shine’s place to complete the downfall of Fox News.
Who’s Suzanne Scott?
Anyone know?
I forget why this is the case.
Anyone know?
I guess that's the point: A pliable nobody.
My guess: There will be another network. Created by Ailes. It will kick the Murdochs' butt.
Ailes is old.
OANN is already on the air.
OANN could enlist Ailes and O’Reilly right now ... LOL.
FOX is intentionally being ripped apart from the inside.
Rachel Madcow gives it Two Thumbs Up!
At least (so far) the REd Murdock sons haven’t taken Shine, BOR, and Ailes confronted basement of the Lubianka Prison and shot each in the back of the head.
OANN needs some professional on air talent. They just sit behind the desk and read the news in a monotone. They put you to sleep.
Is this like learning your church board just selected a woman pastor? Grab your wallet and head out.
After recent reporting that the Murdochs were looking for a female executive to run Fox News, the big shakeup todayincluding the departure of network co-president Bill Shinehas rather noticeably led to a promotion for network exec Suzanne Scott.
Scott, network Executive Vice President of Programming and Development, is becoming President of Programming at Fox News, per a network memo today.
One of the big discussions about Fox recently has been about whether the culture at the network needs to be changed, something addressed in The Hollywood Reporters report on the Murdochs considering a woman for the top job:
The Murdochs have been feeling increased pressure to make good on their public statements to foster a workplace based on the values of respect and trust. Putting a woman in the top spot at Fox News would send a distinct message given the issues that have been roiling the network. The feelers are external; though its possible that someone could get promoted from within.
UPDATE 3:48 pm ET: Some of the reporting this afternoon on the Fox News shake-up isnt exactly so positive about Scott:
One ex Fox-er: Scott "a nightmare just as bad as the rest." A current Fox employee: "Worse than Shine" in deflecting concerns of women David Folkenflik (@davidfolkenflik) May 1, 2017
During Ailes era, Suzanne Scott was in charge of enforcing Ailes mini-skirt dress code for women. Fox women asking how culture will change? Gabriel Sherman (@gabrielsherman) May 1, 2017

Hanity had better be ready to leave.
Don’t be surprised if he is off the air by the end of the month.
Fox news will be the new View in no time.
But I bet the short skirts and sleeveless dresses aren’t going away. A TV channel from ‘Idiocracy’!
I don't know what to think. Some say this is the end of FNC with the wee children in charge. Some say nothing to see here.
BOR wasn’t ‘set up’. The multi-million dollar settlements go back more than ten years so there was nothing new. FNC is going Left.
Most FNC employees probably like going Left, as it enhances their career prospects for jobs at other MSM outlets.
Reporters, maybe, though some have already managed to move on to other networks.
But c'mon, you aren't ever going to see Steve Doocy or Brian Kilmeade on Today or Good Morning America or whatever CBS's morning show is called.
And you won't see Kimberley Guilfoyle or Greg Gutfeld on CNN or MSNBC, either.
All of the people you mention will certainly move on eventually to other MSM jobs, except maybe Gutfeld who might end up with his own media company of some sort.
