No, no no.

I hate this budget. I hate the GOP.

I’m disgusted that so-called conservatives are overjoyed about this awful budget because it means they get to slam the President no matter what he does.

If your cohorts blamed Congress half as much as they blamed the President, I’d take you more seriously. But no, what I’m seeing is lots of happiness because they hate Trump THAT much.

“Next come the progressive judicial nominees. *Barf me*, Trump lovers! “

Why on earth didn’t you just quite the site along with the other Cruz goons and NeverTrump clowns seeing you have been at this since the primaries.

“The headline SHOULD read, “Liberty and the US Constitution Fade” if there is a Trump victory.

“Why is there not one word about vetoing this. Could it be the Kushner gang was complicit?”

Sean Spicer just briefed that the President was ‘very happy’ with what he got from the deal. There isn’t going to be a veto, this budget will be passed and signed off by Trump. It does look like the WH was complicit.

Feeling betrayed right now. I voted for a tough-negotiating businessman to go out and get deals to MAGA. And this is the sort of ‘deal’ he is happy with?!?

It’s just all of the old Cruz supporters from last year snaking back in. Still bitter about as much as the Hillary folks are.

They dont care what congress does, they hate Trump and they will do whatever it takes to get back at him for the primaries.

In this case, I think President Trump should take some of the advice bandied around in Washington for years: that there are no *defeats*, only new opportunities to be exploited.

A big one is that, since Marbury v. Madison (1803), while the courts can prevent the POTUS from acting, they cannot *force* him to act (writ of mandamus).

In this case, congress may refuse to cut the funding to a bunch of things, but neither they nor the courts can force President Trump to actually *spend* that money.

For example, they have appropriated money for PBS, CPB, and Planned Parenthood. They cannot force him to actually give them the money they have appropriated. He can just say no.

Time for MMSGA because that is the only place where we can be partially protected (Make My State Great Again!).

....maybe in the second term.

I'm beginning to think he'll find it too frustrating, say FU to Congress and walk away after the first term........

If this was the American Revolution, they’d be hating on George Washington retreating after the Battle of Long Island. They’d have claimed that it was a betrayal not to fight to the death, while claiming that Benedict Arnold would have done a better job or something.

Feh.

Yes, they would grow one except it would be to join with the RATS in overriding Trump's veto.

I'm afraid you're right. The Paul Ryan types in Congress have no more interest in seeing a border wall or any other type of immigration restriction/enforcement than the Democrats. Trump probably caved because Congressional Republicans threatened to side with the Democrats against him.

Ted Cruz would not have been prez, he is not eligible. Also blaming Trump for that violence, when it was soros and Cruz money masters who paid for it.

Cruz only fights for himself to the bitter end.

" ... so-called conservatives are overjoyed about this awful budget because it means they get to slam the President no matter what he does" Image and video hosting by TinyPic "overjoyed about this budget"? What are you smoking? Your facts and logic are so skewed--as the computer guys say, `it's not even wrong'. We were jumped-up over candidate Trump because of what he said he would do. The master of the deal indeed.

For starters, dear old twee Teddy is INELIGIBLE to EVER be president and secondly, he would have caved even faster IF he would have bested Trump in the Primary. And last, but not least, there’s NO WAY he would have b eaten Hillary in the general election.

Yawn.

Sorry buddy, doesn’t hide the fact that the sore Cruzers are gleeful; all you have to do is look upthread for the evidence.

You should look at the cognitive dissonance by THEM. They claim to hate this budget but I’ve never seen them so active and gleeful because it gives them a chance to slam the President.

When Trump did something right, did you see them cheering him on? Pfft, no. Did you see them celebrating his victory? I don’t!

But now that it’s revealed that Congress is a bunch of backstabbers, here they come flooding back, masturbating all over their keyboards with how eager they are to spew bile.

There’s a leftist supermajority in both houses of Congress

Absolutely. On many key issues (especially immigration), the Democrats are the Congressional "minority" in name only, because they have so many stealth liberals on their side among Congressional Republicans. Paul Ryan probably told Trump that he won't vote for the border wall either, and that both he and his Democrat buddies were willing to shut down the government to prove their point.

It is horrible—we have 80% of a Hillary administration.

Since Trump seems to have completely rolled over on amnesty, I think most if not all of the other GOP primary candidates would have done at least as well—and likely better—by now.
