The only reason he shoved that into this bill war to either force Trump to shutdown the government or do let him signing it used a stick to beat Trump in 2020. I really, really dislike Ryan.
I met a couple of cute college-aged Ukranian girls who spoke passable English, and were very fluent in attractive bright-eyed smiles.
They have the votes and Trump will sign it. Ryan will have a few of his General vote for it and all the Democrats. That is what majorities are for. They are all in safe seat and don’t give a $H_T what the people want. I’m sorry, voting does not work. The system is broke. This happens in the beginning after all elections. All the bad things get passed so next year they can pretend to be for the people. If you look back in history you will see this happening time and again. Just, Bend over and grab your ankles.
Just like every country in the world America has some people who are too stupid, lazy and/or under the influence to hold a job.
Some countries subsidize the behavior and some don’t. Those who don’t have far less of it.
So they export their excess labor to the US where there’s higher demand.

Trump companies benefit financially from the H-2B program - Mar-a-Largo and the Trump vineyards to name just two. I don't think Trump will be at all bothered by this inclusion in the spending bill.
The only group that can be discriminated against in the U.S.A. are white males over 50.

The H-1B visa has been hurting Americans since the early 90’s and, until the last 2 years, nobody cared. Middle America was immune.
Now that it’s truck drivers and hotel maids in the heartland, folks see H-2B as a threat.
