No need for “national reciprocity”. Free states that allow “shall issue” concealed carry should offer reciprocity to CCL holders in other free states, the same rights as their citizens.
Some already do. As we know, the rest require “OK. This is what you must do.” Or, at the other end, simply “No.”
The way it is now you need a manual to know where you can carry and what hoops you have to jump through and permits you have to buy, etc.
In sum, it should be as simple as—if you are in good odor with your state to carry, then you either can or cannot carry in the state you wish to visit. Except for work and other command appearances, we should boycott slave states for vacations, etc.
Suppressors should be legal nationwide.

We are “disenfranchised Californians.” We just received our Utah non-resident CCW permits ( after taking a locally offered class covering Utah’s requirements). While at the moment they are not valid here in CA, the are valid in 37 other states. We are hopeful that the National Reciprocity Law is passed, then we will see what CA tries to do. As an aside, in more than half of CA’s 58 counties, if you are a resident, you can get a CA CCW for the asking. So it will be the big Coastal Counties where the rub will come.
As well as reciprocity to those from *Constitutional Carry* states, such as Oklahoma has provided for in their governing state statute paszsed last year, I believe:
Apr 19, 2017 - Carry by Permitless Carry State Residents In Oklahoma.
The State of Oklahoma hereby recognizes any valid concealed or unconcealed carry weapons permit or license issued by another state, or if the state is a nonpermitting carry state, this state shall reciprocate under the permitting law of that state.
Simple, and reasonable.
