'We will soon force Israel to release prisoners'
Arutz Sheva ^ | 30/4/1 | Dalit Halevi

Hamas leader Khaled Mashaal sent messages to Arab security prisoners, promising the prisoners are at the top of the priority list and that the Hamas leadership will do everything to ensure their release.

"It will not be long before the fighting forces will force Israel to pay the price and to release the Palestinian prisoners," Mashaal said, hinting there may be a new swap similar to the 2011 Shalit deal.

In an interview with Al-Quds, Mashaal called for complete unity between the Arab terrorist organizations, both in Judea, Samaria, and Gaza and in other places as well. He also called on the various organizations to work together with liberals around the world in order to support prisoners and "expose" Israel's "acts against them."

In fact, Arab terrorists have said they enjoyed a life of ease in Israeli prisons, with officials admitting that various perks are given to the terrorists in an attempt to prevent rioting.

In 2014, then-Internal Security Minister Yitzhak Aharonovich was given a freer hand to impose "harsh" conditions on jailed Hamas terrorists in a Security Cabinet decision. Later, it was divulged that those "harsh" conditions meant no more watching the World Cup on TV or shopping at the jail's canteen.

Terrorists once could pursue an academic degree during their terms in Israeli prisons. Although this is now against the law, academic studies have continued. In 2011, it was revealed that the terrorist prisoners' favorite course is "Genocide."

The problem is Israel has released moslem terrorists before more than once. So they get used to these jsilbreaks and come to expect they’ll be successful anytime they want to replenish their ranks. Israel needs to dispatch terrorists in the field and stop taking prisoners. Defense is an activity you need to win, it is not a “let’s see how humanitarian we can be” game.

Israel needs to return to the view that every citizen is a front line soldier, so terrorists will no longer be able to spring hundreds from jail in return for a few kidnapped Israelis.

And they will. Just need grab an Israeli soldier. Or some kids.

This is why the Israelis should take few or no prisoners and execute the ones they have.

“Defense is an activity you need to win, it is not a “let’s see how humanitarian we can be” game.”

The Israeli left is as rabid and extreme as they are in the US. I suspect the percentage of Israelis who are left or left leaning is much higher in Israel than in the US. Therefore any policy you expect your own left leaning or leftist police and army to carry out has to adhere to their worldview. If it doesn’t you risk very bad things happening in the field, like a complete breakdown in discipline and order in the ranks.

In a sense, everything in Israel operates by consensus. Consensus is like arbitration; neither side getting what it wants and nobody being happy with the outcome.

And Trump is hosting the chief enemy pigastinian islamist at the White House this Wednesday to give him some more of our tax money.

This is winning, by any stretch?

How could he even look at this scum of a man without vomiting, no less shaking his hand?

One might have thought - or at least hoped - that any leftist Israelis would by now have learned the absolute necessity of defense. They could then still be leftist on social and economic issues. But we used to have democrats like that in USA and the commie leftist SorozNazi DNC has driven them all out. So maybe it’s similarly screwed up in Israel? Thanks
