MSNBC host Stephanie Ruhle on Thursday attributed President Donald Trump's successes to former President Barack Obama.
Ruhle's comments were prompted by a discussion of the president's first 100 days in office, and Trump's repeated claims that he had inherited "a mess" from the previous administration.
"First how frustrating is this for you, Josh?" Ruhle asked guest Josh Earnest, former White House press secretary. "President Obama was definitively handed a mess."
Ruhle was likely alluding to, among other things, the tenuous state of the economy that Obama inherited when he took office in the wake of the 2008 Recession.

What “successes” were they precisely.
It’s actually very simple: Trump’s success is due to undoing everything Udumbo did and doing everything Udumbo undid.
Go out and knock down a power pole with your car. The work it causes stimulates the economy. 08 was won by media beat down spin. Did not work in reverse thou. Eight years of ruin are hard to shrug off. They just don’t get it.
Leftist doublethink:
On the one hand, Trump’s first 100 days have been the biggest disaster in American history, and he has failed in every respect.
On the other hand, Trump has been successful, but it’s only because of Obama.

Yes, but in 8 years he fixed virtually nothing and created new problems.
A friend of mine used to say, "Don't take your car to the dealership. If you take it with 2 problems, they'll fix one, leave one, and create one." Reminds me of the Obama administration.
Actually, true! He undid many of the horrible things Obummer did and therein lies his success.
Iran and North Korea going nuclear, is success?
Wonder what failure looks like?
Using them?
