Article claims North Korea has 10 nukes. It is probably classified the yield of these warheads (kilotons or megatons).

The artillery pieces aimed at Seoul are mostly on rails so it is unclear if they can be taken out before they are used on Seoul.

Admiral Harry Harris (US CinCPac) is quoted in the article. I don't know if they still use the title "CinCPac".

That 1.2 million man army's weaponry might have been manufactured by Hasbro...

Dummy diplomacy: North Korean weapons displayed during parade are FAKE and their sunglasses aren't even combat ready, US military expert says

Don’t get me wrong ... People will die if lil kim goes nuts but in my humble estimation lil kim is at his best a pesky insect. Without China lil kim is less than a pesky insect

all of their rhetoric is just gobbledygook. We’ve found the chink in their armor.

I'd like to know WHEN was the last time "Former intelligence officer and U.S. Army veteran Michael Pregent" and Admiral Harris was IN South Korea.
I believe their information about North Korea's capabilities are a little out of date.

Do they really believe that ours, as well as South Koreas artillery, hasn't already 'dial-in' those North Korean artillery sites and their barracks buildings that house those North Korean artillery crews ?
Do they really believe that our combined artillery crews are going to just sit there and take it ?

What does this tiny place need 70 subs for? That is worrisome.

His nukes can't reach US territory but I'll bet they could reach our guys stationed in Japan and South Korea. And one nuke hitting Seoul or Tokyo would send shock waves through the world economy that would make the Great Depression look like a stroll in the park by comparison.

The Norks have a thing for sneak attacks early on Sunday mornings.

We’re talking about a nation in almost total darkness at night as viewed from satellites due to a lack of infrastructure and technology. In addition, these morons keep wasting what little resources they have in what apparently are shows of force which turn into shows of farce.

It’s ironic that NK has predicated its militaristic culture on standing up to the big bad US despite any lack of real threat. They’ve had the needle pegged on all-out war for so long they have nowhere to go on the alert scale.

This a nation in perpetual famine. Joining the military is one of the few ways to get access to food so any total of men under arms is specious at best. Their ‘loyalty’ is mostly due to fear, threat, paranoia, etc. Half of them may well surrender immediately especially if it means freedom for their families.

Nobody is asking what the morale of the 1.2 million men is like? My guess is that 1,999,999 of them would defect as soon as they reached Seoul.

They hide their stuff under hills and mountains.

Might need some MOAB’s to take out some of the artillery.

We have the firepower to light up the DMZ, the hoards can’t be effective, if they can’t cross the wasteland.

MOAB useless until air is cleared of opponent. Dropped from transport plane.

First , knock out their 2 satellites. We don’t know what is in those satellites, may be an EMP ‘device’. Have directed beam weapons, anti- missile assets off the coast ready to jump on launches.
The subs are worrisome, real worrisome.

Ideal weapon for the hoards, neutron bomb, which is said we don’t posses anymore.

The biggest fear out of all of this crisis is are the innocents in South Korea and our soldiers on the border. They will be the first casualties in any conflict. Then will come the storm of refugees if they don't die from starvation after taking 10 steps. I cannot imagine any humanitarian approach to saving these people if this goes South. It's going to be a mess if we dismantle the nork government and the casualties will be unavoidable.

Not so worried about the Chinese border. They'll probably just shoot anyone soldier or refugee.

At least the left will see the full potential of their policies on display when the horrors of nork land are exposed.

With today’s technology how does a nation state mobilize a 1 million man army to conduct a “sneak attack?”

All of that can do a sneak attack? lol

With some firearms training I could probably be more effective than their emaciated troops.

Actually, it worsens the chances the little idiot goes nuclear. His manpower is no match for U.S.-South Korean firepower, and even his troops cannot match the firepower of the troops they will face. That means, conventionally his military cannot prevail and will start to lose quickly. Desperate idiots can do desperate things.

If only our intelligence can locate his nukes and take ‘em out. Some are on mobile launchers.

If Kim were defeated, you now have 9 million hungry and crazy people to re-indoctrinate and feed. I don’t think there’s quite that much kimchi to go around.

Those 1.2 million men have never seen combat and likely exist on two bowls of kimchi per day. Confronted with the dogs of war they will probably lay down and surrender or run off. Or once they cross into SK defect en mass.

Half the planes probably don’t fly and the sub’s are diesel. Easy to track and kill.

The artillery and the chemical weapons will likely present the major obstacles. Its going to be impossible to stop a lot of it from hitting SK.

The best bet is to bet somebody to take Kimmie out.
