Why don’t we drop a couple of MOAB’s into Iran’s Nuclear Facility?
There are hundreds of different facilities, some of which are undoubtedly redundant.
MOABs are fantastic weapons for destroying surface and near surface targets (when those near surface targets are open or soft, like caves.
We would need a sustained campaign using MOPs (Massive Ordnance Penetrators), probably over a period of at least a week or 2. Good luck with that - Iran will unleash all of its proxies around the world to reek havoc. We would also likely have at least a few of our pilots downed and captured.
You see, Iran learned from what happened to Iraq at Osirak (when the Israelis bombed Iraq’s one and only facility in 1981) - so they haven’t put all of their eggs in one basket.
