Donald Trump has called Venezuela a 'mess' as waves of anti-government unrest continue, with 29 declared dead.
The people of Venezuela have been protesting in the streets of Caracas this month, during a deepening economic crisis.
At the White House today, President Trump said: "Venezuela is a mess. I'm very sad for Venezuela, very sad to see what's happened in Venezuela."
'Venezuela is a very sad situation.'
His comments came as the government of leftist President Nicolas Maduro prepares to withdraw from the Organization of American States, a Washington-based grouping that encompasses all countries in the western hemisphere but Cuba.
Today, people have attended a session of the Venezuelan National Assembly at a sports park in Caracas, where opposition lawmakers paid homage to the latest victim of Venezuela's unrest, Juan Pablo Pernalete, who was killed on Wednesday when he was stuck by a canister of tear gas fired by security forces.
Opposition lawmakers, who have a legislative majority but say they have been left toothless by the Supreme Court, were holding their twice-weekly National Assembly session in Caracas Thursday, and invited Venezuelans to attend.
Maduro's opponents, as well as demanding a general election, are calling for the release of jailed activists, humanitarian aid to help offset shortages of food and medicine, and autonomy for the country's legislature.
They have been galvanized by the international condemnation of Maudro's government in the last month and Carcas's increasing isolation on the global stage.
On Wednesday afternoon, the son of Venezuela's pro-government human rights ombudsman stunned the country amid major protests against the leftist administration by publicly calling on his father to 'end the injustice.'.....

While Venezuelans may have voted for Chavez and Maduro in the past when the last elections for the National Assembly were held the opposition won a 2/3 majority.
That would allowed them total veto power over President Nicolas Maduro, but the Supreme Court packed by Maduro acted to throw out some of the opposition legislators election wins reducing the majority to a 3/5 size.
This still gave the opposition powers to overrule Maduro in some cases but every time they did the Supreme Court invalidated their decisions.
And so we now have a country in turmoil and rebellion and we shall see where that leads in the days ahead.
Opposition leader Henrique Capriles told the BBC there should be early general elections in Venezuela.
Trump needs to challange The Bern and Schmuckie to go there and implement the ‘Rat agenda to fix Venezurla to prove that ‘Rat socialism works great.
Nowdays, you can’t call a communist a communist. Trump should tell it as it is — Venezuela is a failed communist dictatorship.
President Trump should be making a Highly Publicized plea to Bernie Sanders and Proud Socialist University Students in America to immediately head to Venezuela and help them with their Socialist Utopia, Show them how it is supposed to work according to all of their Teachers.

Massachusetts in energy deal with Venezuela

QUINCY, Mass. — Venezuelan officials signed a deal Tuesday to ship 12 million gallons (45 million liters) of discounted home heating oil to poor Americans in Massachusetts as part of plan by Venezuelan leader Hugo Chavez to help needy U.S. communities.
The fuel is being offered by Citgo Petroleum Corp., a subsidiary of Venezuela’s state-owned oil company which runs roughly 16,000 gas stations in the U.S.
U.S. Rep. William Delahunt, who helped broker the deal, called the agreement “an expression of humanitarianism at its very best,” and rejected criticism that the move was motivated by politics. Chavez often blames the plight of the poor on unbridled capitalism and had criticized U.S. President George W. Bush’s government for failing to reduce poverty.
“This is a gesture about people,” said Delahunt, a Democrat.
Delahunt said the agreement could set an example for U.S. oil companies. Congressional leaders have asked the companies to use some of their profits to fund heating fuel assistance programs for low-income residents.
“I just hope that this sends a message, and that other oil companies will step and help also,” Delahunt said.
Reducing costs?
Chavez announced the idea of offering fuel directly to poor U.S. communities during a visit to Cuba in August. He has said the aim is to bypass middlemen to reduce costs for the American poor.
The plan to provide low-cost heating oil to poor communities in Massachusetts and also the Bronx in New York City is “eminently a political move,” said Patrick Esteruelas, an analyst with the New York-based Eurasia Group.
He said it is a way for Venezuela to “compromise the White House position within the U.S.” and emphasize what Chavez has long cited as the failings of U.S. policy.
The initiative is part of a larger effort by Chavez to use Venezuela’s surging oil wealth to extend the country’s influence and create an alternative to what he calls U.S. “imperialism” in the region.
Chavez says he is leading a socialist “revolution” and has become one Bush’s strongest critics in Latin America.

The “World Order” and the opposition leaders are using gentle methods in Venezuela right now.
The ruling elites of the world have bigger issues on the table like Syria and the end game there of dealing with Iran for the sake of a bigger Middle East “Peace” with Saudi Arabia leading the Arabs and the region economically-financially.
Not to mention the North Korea thing.

The opposition could end up being crushed if they don’t keep up resistance.
