Its the MacKinder doctine. Read Brezinski for more of that and the ‘hearland of the world’ stuff. We may think it’s nonsense, but the people on top really believe it. And it’s not the US govt, its a much higher group that makes these decisions that control most politicians through the CFR and Trilateral Commission. Most administrations are filled with these people, Trump’s is different, he may have a few goldman sachs people, but that is about it. That’s why there has been such a fury to get rid of Flynn. That position needs to be controlled, he wasn’t.

Huh? I never said anyone was virtuous or good, least of all socialist or communist countries. Maybe the founding fathers weren’t controlled (other than possibly Hamilton); but other than that I think most countries are controlled.
