Why does Texas need this law? Aren’t sanctuary cities already illegal by definition? I would imagine that Federal laws cover most of the crimes committed by those who run sanctuary cities - never hurts to have State laws that mesh with Federal laws.
Waiting for the decision to turn Sessions loose on those who run the sanctuary cities and break federal laws.
