Hundreds of far-right protesters, some dressed in goggles, gas masks and knee pads, are rallying in support of conservative speaker Ann Coulter in downtown Berkeley.
Some at the rally in downtown Berkeley are wearing combat gear, including military grade ballistic helmets and body armor.
Dozens of police in riot gear stand ready to crack down on violence if it erupts.
Many of the protesters have “Build That Wall” or “Trump” stickers across their helmets and several are concealing their identities wearing mirrored ski goggles over their eyes.
So far, there’s no sign of opponents, or so-called anti-fascists who have violently clashed with the far-right demonstrators previously in Berkeley.
The Berkeley Police just announced that the peaceful free speech rally must disperse

We should bear in mind that the anarchists/fascists/Antifa want to provoke a violent reaction. They want that more than anything.
When violence is met with violence; the MSM will have no trouble at all twisting their reports to lay the blame on the right. In turn, the anarchists believe that will put public opinion on their side. Unfortunately, they’re largely correct.
Please — don’t fall for their trap.
(I know, I know, at some point, enough is enough. Self-defense is a natural right. If they’re not stopped, they’ll just keep escalating. All true — but, so is the part about it all being part of a strategy to lay a trap.)

The protester refused to cooperate with police ..... the Berkley police aren’t messing around today because he was immediately arrested.... the police officer had enough of this protester’s nonsense. Hah!>>. i doubt he was arrested. let me see the court records.
