The sea leaks oil every day. The coasts in Santa Barbara and Ventura have oil blobs all over them. Natural. Just got back from a week on the boat with my teenage granddaughter and her friend. After a day on the beach I had to use WD 40 to get the oil off their shoes and beach towels.
