Like many after the 2016 election, Barbra Streisand was disappointed with the results. In fact, she was heartbroken.
The Oscar winner opened up about Hillary Clinton’s loss during an interview with WNYC’s Leonard Lopate. In her opinion, it all came down to the fact that “women are still so underestimated” in society.
“It’s incredible to watch even this last election with Hillary, the kind of strong woman, the powerful woman, the educated woman, the experienced woman, being thought of as the other, or too elite, or too educated,” she said.
“It’s very, very odd to me, and it was heartbreaking for her to lose, you know?”
When Lopate asked whether Streisand agreed with Clinton, who’s said misogyny played a part in the election she replied, “Totally.”
She later added, “Power and woman has always been suspect. Strong women have always been suspect ― don’t you think? ― in this country.”

Dissonance - Streisand does nothing less than project the attributes SHE thinks most noteworthy - strength, powerful, educated, experienced - and ignore the horrible warts of ethical errors, corruption, official malfeasance and legal misdeeds that covered Billary, Inc.
Typical of Liberals, they do the same for all their political heroes, including Marxists. None of their horrible errors matter, all the Left sees is that their hero is one of them. American Liberals learned that, were in indoctrinated in it in their party since the 1960s, and spread it into Liberals socially in the American culture.
