Willie's back, thank goodness. " God's Problem Child " is Willie Nelson's first CD of completely new material in three years, and his advanced age (Don't look now, he turns 84 on April 29) hasn't dulled his pen, his voice, or his simple, eloquent guitar.

Willie is 84 and still writes, plays and tours.

Sometimes you see Wille play and he is a little off his game, but most of the time he hits it right.

He will still call his band and crew at 8:00 in the evening and tell them to be on the tour bus at midnight and off he goes to play somewhere.

If they stop for the night while touring, the band and crew go into the hotel, Willie stays on his bus.

Always will respect Willie for the good nature he demonstrated in his woes with the IRS.

It’s time for whacked out Willie to kick the bucket . He is proof positive that MJ use can be seriously detrimental to your mental health and can strongly affect your better judgement

Willie is a great song writer. Don’t care that he smokes the wacky weed because life sucks and if the weed helps you through it, so be it. His voice is gone and he mainly talks through the songs but still puts on great show.

I think the song is called “Always On My Mind.” Elvis did a great take on it, too.

If I remember correctly (from a Nashville trip), a tour guide related that, many years back, someone suggested to Willie that he lose the coat & tie/business attire, and try a more “rustic” look. He made the outfit change and never looked back.
