Four addytional AP1000 units are under construction in China - two each at Sanmen and Haiyang - are not expected to be affected by the bankruptcy filing which only applies to Westinghouse's US operations.

The first was the utter failure to paraphrase the headline into something that actually communicates.
Why would anyone want to spend 1.5 billion$$ to repair a season?
If we skipped 4th of July weekend we could bring it in under budget.

The big problem with our nuclear power generators is that each one is a one off. A common design would reduce costs. But then there would be far less room for scamming, skimming, grafting, out right fraud and kicking back in that.
