The Senate took part in a rare White House briefing on Wednesday to hear what senior leaders described as "an urgent national security threat" posed by North Korea's nuclear and missile programs.
The hour-long secret session for all senators was held at the Eisenhower Executive Office Building, next to the White House, and included a brief appearance from President Trump who made short, introductory remarks.
Marine Corps Gen. Joseph Dunford, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, also took part in the session. His presence is an indication that military options for dealing with North Korea likely were discussed. "

Barrasso said he favors increasing sanctions, including sanctions on China.
Sen. Chris Coons (D., Del.) called the session "very clear-eyed, sober and serious."
NOW we are going to find the ‘leakers’ in Congress...this is going to be good...(popping popcorn)!!!
Increasing sanctions? Ok.
What do those guys care? They can be in their private jets and airborne en-route to their vacation/second homes in Canada, the Caribbean or wherever within minutes of NORAD notifying them that NK has launched missiles our way.
Was James Brown in attendance?
Obviously the administration has something it wants to get out to the public but is not ready to announce themselves. Solution: tell some Senators!!

China has been talking our side recently.
But I read that China has been trading with NK in items prohibited by the existing sanctions. The vehicles towing the missles in NK recent parades were Chinese vehicles.
So China remains part of the problem even if they are giving Trump the go ahead.
If norks do an emp - private jets (filled with unprotected chips) - could crash...
They’ll probably nuke Hawaii, Alaska and possibly California first. Then, all heck will break loose. Our cowardly senators/congresscritters will be on their planes any outa here in an instant.
The Dims have no shame, when confronted with their earlier statements, and pronouncements. They will never face their own duplicity, and conveniently forget their lies.
How many in the intelligence community are actually agents of the Socialist Democrat party of America? How many will push for action, but deny they did so when and if things get bad?
Anything the North Koreans have, the Iranian have. The two countries have cooperated with each other in weapon development over the last two decades. Iraq used to be part of their group.
Our cowardly senators/congresscritters will be on their planes any outa here in an instant.

What anyone reported, we’ve already been hearing for days.
What the Senators heard but did not say would be news, but for now at least most of the Senators aren’t giving away anything that was told to them was secret.
Let’s see which Senator(s) break that silence first.
