Senator Cory Gardner, a Republican representing Colorado, talked to constituents about big issues like border security, during his online town hall on Monday night.
Gardner addressed the border wall and he said now is not the time to debate President Donald Trump’s border wall promise as a government shutdown looms in our nation’s capitol.
“And I think it would be irresponsible to shut the government down over a conversation about border security,” said Gardner.
Gardner says he does support border security and believes it’s important as the country moves forward.

Gardner is another Cheap Labor Express Republican who wants the borders open and the laws unenforced.
Anyone who says they are for “border security” means they don’t want a wall. Otherwise they would have no problem saying “wall”. Trump needs to veto anything without money for the wall or kiss his agenda goodbye.

This jakeleg is a big part of the problem.
A "government shutdown" is nothing. 83% of all federal employees are considered "essential" so they show up regardless. All 100% get back pay. We have trillions in reserve so SS checks, debt service, etc. all are covered.
