And if all this blows over without a shot being fired, will Trump receive the Nobel Peace Prize like his worthless predecessor did?

“if the communist country launches a fresh military provocation”

Great. As it should be.

But what constitutes a “fresh military provocation?”

Kim < China, Russia, the U.S., South Korea, Japan...

Kim is holding the ace card. It’s about to be shoved up...

Also agreed in the trilateral meeting were trilateral efforts to secure China’s “constructive role” in getting North Korea to give up its nuclear and missile programs, Kim also said.
++++
The obvious goal. Trump needs to figure this one out. What is the pressure that could be applied to China that would force them put the hammer to Kim Krazy. Has to be trade policy. Has to be too much for the Chinese to bear. Has to be OK with Congress. Has to be sold to the public. Has to look like it will work and is worth the risk.

Tough task. Hope our guy is up to it.

I like the idea of bringing the coal to steel production back to western pa and ohio. Without a reliable steel industry our national security is greatly diminished.
I agree with those above, put the trade issue to the Chinese so they have to rain in the fat boi.

When the SK government starts to quietly move out of Seoul I think things will happen quickly. NK will try to pre-empt by hitting Seoul and any sign of that starting will draw the fires of hell down on the NK side of the western section of the DMZ and on the nuke sites. The Deal may be to invite China to enter NK and occupy it while the US and its buds wipe out the NK military installations and large formations. The end result of that will not be terribly wonderful but it will be much more predictable and thus manageable than leaving Kim in control. It might even be superior to turning the North over to SK as trying to rehab the North might well sink the SK economy and create instability in the South.
