Many more issues to be raised in further trials. Confusing? Yes to some, clear cut to others. Agree to disagree? Probably not. Have at it if you wish. I do notice that with the YUGE solar panel array outside lost vegas, the desert tortoise issue wasn't an issue. Apparently they were moved to low rent apartments and signs were place around the array prohibiting them from re-entering the area.

1. ONLY THE LOCAL SHERIFF HAS JURISDICTION IN DISPUTES BETWEEN CITIZENS AND THE FEDERAL GOVENMENT...
So why does the BLM have armed thugs and why did the Feds not follow the Constitution...

2. The real deal is that area was also involved with natural resources and deals like URANIUM ONE... and Harry Reid and a project needing access via this land in UTAH...

3. the Feds own half the land out west ....???? WHY
Well in the case of nevada the state let the Feds do it.
Under the Constitution when a territory become as a state the Feds cede the land to the state... and the Feds can keep land necessary to execute their duties enumerated in the Constitution... forts and such...

4. LEVOY FINICUM was murdered by the FBI in another similar situation.
He supported Bundy and was from a ranching background. The issue in the second standoff case was 2 brothers set a backfire and it got out of control. Obama had them charged with TERRORISM AND SENT BACK TO PRISON...

5. The BLM has screwed people out of their land and played politics with it and ;gives themselves big bonuses and perks .... for nothing wasting taxpayer money.

I truly hope TRUMP or designee has time to look at the LAW and the overall situation and straightens this out...

GIVE THE WESTERN FEDERAL LANDS TO THE RIGHTFUL OWNERS ...

The thing that people don’t realize is there has been a change in the perspective that folks have in regard to BLM land out West. For over a hundred years it was “worthless, arid land” no one wanted. Outside of mining claims where there was real value it was viewed as a “vast waste”. Of very limited value and that limited to ranchers to eke out a living grazing animals and marginably suitable for that.

In recent years, vast spaces which were once essentially infinite, as far as human value, have become a limited resource that now has value. In fact, a great deal of value. I would submit that it is actually this land that underwrites America’s debt (which you may have noticed is astronomical). Gummint HAS TO secure it’s claim to this land or the security of America’s debt is questionable. This is what is driving the behavior of the gummint in regard to folks like Bundy.

Sure, Bundy can be faulted for not realizing that he was willingly “jumping into the gears of the machine” and so should not complain about being ground up by them. But here is the tension that created the mess. It is one thing for folks like Buckley to SAY “STOP” and think one is “standing athwart the path of progressives” but quite another to actually do so, especially when tens of trillions of dollars of real money is on the other side.
