It’s not “white privilege”. It’s “Puritan work ethic”. Some people don’t realize that some cultures ARE more successful than others precisely because they normalize successful behaviors

Exactly, it's culture rather than race. Though some cultures, I'm thinking of our inner cities, do revolve around race. Academic "cultures" as well

The big moment for me was watching the “Beyond Survival” series.
While I appreciated the narrator’s interest in documenting & preserving obscure tribal cultures, I noted that those cultures were so inept that they had no business surviving. I don’t mean to sound harsh, but they really were doing things that were ultimately terminal. The climax was watching one group fishing by sitting on poles in the ocean, dangling bare hooks going to snag a fish; if they actually applied simple techniques like baiting hooks, their catch would have been enormous - but they stuck with whatever barely worked, skirting extinction in the process.

Alas, many cultures think if someone is successful they must be using immoral means. Those cultures likewise will prove unsuccessful.
