Bernie's basically a trustworthy guy backing the system from hell... Yes, Socialism in the hands of a philosopher king type like Bernie might work for a while ... but as soon as he died it would devolve into ‘totalitarian hellhole’ stuff... Also Bernie's willing to pretend facts don't exist if they're in conflict with his goals...he doesn't deny them - he just ignores them.

Right, he backed O-care. I think he would have to leave the party to be true to himself, and even if he got elected then we could get a socialized medicine system that forced us to seek a doctor that would be closer to “reduce our carbon footprint” (that actually happened in UK).
