Obama Shut Down Efforts to Stop Iran's Nuke and Bomb Smuggling Network

Obama's Iran deal was a boost for its weapons program. So why should any of his dirty deals with the Islamic terror state not be a vital part of the same treasonous agenda.

When President Barack Obama announced the “one-time gesture” of releasing Iranian-born prisoners who “were not charged with terrorism or any violent offenses” last year, his administration presented the move as a modest trade-off for the greater good of the Iran nuclear agreement and Tehran’s pledge to free five Americans.

Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort. U.S. Constitution, Article III, Section 3, Clause 1.

If Obama is not guilty of treason, I don't know who is.

Can a former president be impeached, and if impeached, since they are now a civilian, find the facts and findings of the impeachment used to prosecute them for treason, if the facts and findings would have amounted to treason if committed by any civilian at the time.

I guess the matter is whether or not the official powers of a president - the latitude of actions given to them - allows them to take actions that would be treason were they not the president. That is what arises when treason is the highest form of going against the country, but the president is at the time the highest executive authority of the country.

If any of the GOP Rinos were aware of all that treachery, they likely concluded that the House (post Nov 2010 elections) could impeach Obama, but the trial in the Senate would not convict him.

I don't think a former president can be impeached or pardon himself, because he is no longer within the time covering his oath, as far as I know. But, it seems as though he should be held responsible for criminal action regardless.

It is my view that the Iranian nuke deal does the precise opposite of what it is presented as doing. It does not create any impediment to their nuclear program, on the contrary it shelters it, protects it, and funds it.

The strongest criticism I’ve heard is when people say, it leaves the door open so that ten years from now they can have a nuke. No, I say, it doesn’t even do that. We become complicit in their nuclear program. So when people brag publicly about what we accomplished with the nuclear deal, I think either they are naïve or in on it.

Anyone remember how we supposedly stopped North Korea’s nuclear program? Then you find out we didn’t stop anything, but we gave them hundreds of millions per year, and offered them a free (free!) nuclear power plant in exchange for... nothing. They never gave up anything, but reaped huge rewards that only stopped when Clinton left office.
