A Clemson administrator has proposed requiring student government candidates to pass an “intercultural competency” test before being permitted to run for or hold office.
The “intercultural competency” test requirement for Student Government candidates who wish to run for office was just one of the ideas Altheia Richardson, Clemson’s Director of the Gantt Multicultural Center, proposed in a recent presentation to Clemson Undergraduate Student Government (CUSG) Senate. As an alternative, Richardson also suggested group training for CUSG members once elected.

The part of these stories that I just don’t get is that a lot of these liberal lunatic universities, like Clemson, are in conservative states with conservative governors and state legislatures. Why don’t they hold a hearing and tell these universities to straighten out or else they’ll lose their money and status? Free speech for ALL. Respect for ALL views — liberal and conservative. And if anyone proposes nonsense like this, you lose funding.
Elections are too dangerous for students because the latter risk hearing ideas that aren’t approved by progressive Experts. Clemson should simply appoint student leaders from a pool selected by the Grievance Studies faculty and the local Communist party. They could be in charge of Hate Speech enforcement as well. Oh, and there should be uniforms. Lots of uniforms.

It is getting scary at Clemson. Anyone have a student there who could do some anonymous reporting? This week, the new Diversity Czar, Lee Gill—$185k for year, holds a shindig with atavis Smiley.

Clemson is a private university.
I am going out on a limb and guess that the test would be ‘graded’ on a curve with ethnic bias. Study materials will be easily available at the BSU and the La Raza/Atzlan buildings. Non-Minorities wishing to study for this test will have to see the SJW Dean in charge of White Privilege Suppression.
This idea will be scrapped as soon as the Asian kids get higher scores than the black kids. Even if every single question is about black or Hispanic history.
I can only conclude that this proposal is put forward by the remnants of the South Caroline Klan to ensure that Clemson has an exclusively white and asian student government.
I believe it’s a “land grant” school that’s open to all SC residents.

Why OH WHY are parents sending their children to these schools? Why aren’t the paying parents raising holy cain with the schools for teaching their children how to be marxists, or do they care?

The Federal takeover of education, coupled with unionization, is for the very purpose of making them inviolate enemy enclaves in conservative environs.
Many of the most egregious abuses take place in so-called red states; after all, they already control the so-called blue ones.
