Trump schedules 'big' Pennsylvania rally on same night as White House reporter gala
CNBC ^ | April 22 2017 | Javier David

President Donald Trump announced his intention to hold a "big rally" in Pennsylvania next Saturday, a date which marks his 100th day in office, and coincides with the White House Correspondent's Dinner—an event he previously declined to attend.... ...Interestingly, however, the rally will be held on the same night as the White House Correspondent's Dinner, and threatens to overshadow the gala known derisively as "Nerd Prom." Amid a spat with the press in February, Trump declared he wouldn't attend, departing with a long-held tradition where sitting presidents rub shoulders with the very reporters who cover the White House and Congress.

Wha Wha Wha, here's a soother.

1) Your White House Correspondents Dinner, IS NOT an important event. In fact, NOBODY CARES ABOUT YOUR DOPEY DINNER!!!

2)Your self indulgent dinner is not worthy of news, nor will your dinner EVER become a national holiday.

3) ..It wasn't immediately clear what purpose the White House had in mind for scheduling the Pennsylvania rally...LET ME REPEAT MYSELF, NOBODY CARES ABOUT YOUR DINNER. Your dinner plays no part in Trumps schedule.

4) Now that you journalists are so butt hurt about your insignificant dinner, good for Trump, and thanks for the insight into your priorities and your soul

The White House Correspondents Dinner is a major, non event flop before it even comes about!!! Deadbeats dining and drinking with deadbeats!!! The real action, entertainment and glee will be at the “MASSIVE” POTUS, TRUMP rally being held in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, the same day as the WHCD!!!

The low life media could invite low life, political and human failures & losers, Obama & Clinton....but...that would cause even less folks to watch!!! The media buffoons have only screwed themselves!!! “Got ‘em again, didn’t we, Josie”...from the Outlaw, Josie Wales!!!

Remember when the libs scheduled a big concert with all kinds of major recording stars performing on the same night as the Inauguration?

That didn’t seem to upset the press. Hardly at all.

“GO POTUS, DONALD J. TRUMP!!! MAKE AMERUCA GREAT AGAIN!!! Go MARIE LE PEN!!! MAKE FRANCE GREAT AGAIN!!!”

Yes, for the Harrisburg rally and Trump. My honey and I will be going over the night before so that we can get in line the next morning. What a thrill to be at a Trump rally!!

I have seen only two famous people in my life, Joe Lewis in Manila and LBJ at Southwest Texas State University. So this is s-o-m-e-t-h-i-n-g at my great age of almost 80!!

I hope Trump is as eager to play this crowd as all the others!! MEGA!!
