Probation rules only apply to the peasant class that isn’t firmly of the approved paid agitator genre.

He’s either out on bail, or out on his own recognizance. In either case, his only duty is to show up at his trial. You can’t be put on ‘probation’ until you’re convicted.

Butyric acid attacks

Now, I'm firmly in favor of locking up the ProFa snowflake goons in a lions' den and seeing if their virtue matches Daniel's. But it should be noted that unless the delivery mechanism creates an eye or skin hazard . . . butyric acid is a stink bomb.

Conditions of bail can be set, and they can be very “probation-ish”.

I believe you’re correct about bail terms can approach being probation like. In addition, IIRC prosecutors can go back to the court to request bail terms be modified or bail be revoked.

Yep.

This wasn’t a threat of throwing acid into someone’s face to cause disfigurement.

Butyric acid smells like sweaty gym socks, and it’s something people can detect in very small concentrations.

It stinks, and it lingers for weeks, despite cleaning.

Bullship. I'm ugly as sin and I am still conservative.

And various Berkeley violent rioters. .

Was he violating his probation orders following his arrest?

Was it too much effort to look up what his probation conditions were?

Kuhn plead guilty and got a deferred sentence. As long as he wasn’t arrested he’s probably ok here. But he’s still a scumbag.

These `Anti-fa’/fascists are domestic terrorists.
If the California cops won’t act, where’s the FBI?
