He’s very impressive. Which means he has no future in politics in Virginia.

So there's still going to be a mandate, but what the mandate is will vary from state to state? Will healthy people who don't want the feds to control their bodies have to choose where they live accordingly? How does that work when people move? Will that be "unequal protection" under the law?
If they'd just keep it simple and drop the mandate, competition will take care of everything else. President Trump could've done that with his signature, day 1.

Any bill that is not sim-le repeal, that puts in place more government structures or just shaves some and renames others will continue the disaster that has overcome Medicine in America and, indeed, in the world. America's relatively market based medicine is the only reason that R7D still exists in the world. No government system will or can pay for it. If we do not return to the market and get the government out of medicine and insurance R&D and new drugs including new antibiotics which must be replaced over time will cease. That is just one of the disabilities the population will suffer with a continuation of governmentcare, access being terribly retarded then rationed by utility considerations- what is this patient worth to the economy? Will it pay to heal him? That is an overt feature of Single Payer which the Republicans seem intent on bring on and it is an inherent feature in anything deriving from Obamacare with its "death panels" which are unavoidable when the government is directing the system.

FedHealthcare 1.0 - Obamacare 1.0: first draft, went to USSC for rewrite
FedHealthcare 2.0 - USSCcare draft 1.0: this draft was rewrote/reinterpreted Obamacare 1.0 by USSC, but failed
FedHealthcare 3.0 - USSC draft 2.0 this final draft was rewritten by the USSC with more negotiating rewriting/reinterpreting and a USSC blackmail, and was accepted; and became ACA (or Obamacare)
FedHealthcare 4.0 - Rinocare 1.0 or Trumpcare 1.0 (AHCA); failed
FedHealthcare 5.0 - Rinocare 2.0 a rewrite/renegotiate Rinocare 1.0
Very interesting process. Especially the act of getting USSC involved in the draft re-writes of law.
