I have long wished the Saudis revert back to camel humping. While I understand the strategic importance of our AF bases there, I would hope Trump asks the Joint Chiefs if we could move them elsewhere. Don't know the politics of United Arab Emirates, Oman, Yemen or Jordan, but they may be options. I'm willing to spend more tax dollars to move out of that misogynistic monarchy. The Saudis are NOT our friends, and we know longer need their oil.
The above said, I don't want to see the monarchy fall so much that ISIS or others take control as in Libya and Egypt after Obama's and Hillary's "Most Excellent Adventure" in their designed "Arab Spring".
That means Saudi Aramco will be cutting back on expenses. Suppliers like Schneider Electric, Emerson and others are going to get hurt including potential layoffs.
