Embattled Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro announced plans Monday to expand the number of civilians involved in armed militias as tensions in the crisis-wracked South American nation continued to rise.

Maduro said he hopes to expand the number of civilians involved in the Bolivarian militias created by the late Hugo Chavez to 500,000, up from the current 100,000, and provide each member with a gun.

“A civilian force, every bit as strong as the military”. Obama just ran out of time.

So, which part of the country breaks away first? The borderlands near Colombia?

Because purely cynical, political move to arm his supporters, it will eventually lead to many more murders and civil war there.

Armed Militias Execute Venezuelan President

Caracas, Venezuela, August 18, 2017. Armed militiamen stormed the Presidential Palace, dragged President Nicholas Maduro into the large open area outside, and hanged him.

Tension in Venezuela had been rising for several months, as government employees and supporters were not receiving the salaries and food they had been promised. One militiaman said: “They said we would have plenty of food, and good pay, but the money they gave us is worthless, and there is no food in the stores. I got a ticket to go to the official government warehouse, but when I got there they said I would have to wait until next week.”

***500,000 civilians issued guns, what could go wrong?***

THAT is why, in the Middle Ages, the French never really allowed their serfs to take up the bow and arrow as the British did. French serfs, made bowmen, felt they were now FREE MEN and were reluctant to return to serfdom after the wars were over.

All I can say is he better feed them well! A hungry militia is a dangerous militia.

Hopefully they’ll shoot him with them.

Worse than the Red Guards. He’s arming criminal gangs to rape, murder, and rob.

The equivalent of Obama arming the gangs here to move on the suburbs of every city and town.

Simon Bolivar, the "George Washington of South America", after trying for years to unite at least some portion of the continent into a union of republics in the image of the US, despaired of the populations of South America ever being able to emulate the freedom of the United States. "I think it would be better for [South] America to adopt the Koran than the form of government of the United States, even if the latter is the best in the world."

“The equivalent of Obama arming the gangs here to move on the suburbs of every city and town.”

Exactly what he was trying to do. The Travon Martin and Michale Brown cases show it, since he did his level best to prosecute two law-abiding men who did nothing but defend themselves against subhuman wannabe murderers. His whole idea was to achieve Maduro’s end indirectly by prosecuting self defense efforts to the point of deterring armed self-defense while turning the worst of his pure evil subhuman, criminal supporters loose to rape, rob, murder, burn, and pillage.

His own version of the SS.

Actually more like the SA, whom Hitler wiped out when he needed the Army support.

The militias that he’s arming are all only Maduro supporters. The Maduro supporters are mostly people who are getting goodies from the administration.

Visualize if Obama had recruited inner city gang bangers and welfare recipients into a “citizen’s militia”, and gave them his blessing to go after middle-class citizens who were opposed to paying for their welfare. After having disarmed the middle class.

That’s the situation in Venezuela.
