"Messy recounts" would've further served their purpose of discrediting Trump. You know the mainstream media wouldn't report anything too detrimental, only enough to plant seeds of doubt.
I don't believe any of these stories--they're being presented to show Obama as a statesman, and Clinton as a classy, magnanimous candidate who only wanted "what's best for the country."
