There were rain storms moving through the general Washington, DC area, and I’m including where this accident happened during the general time of the accident. Thus I would not be surprised if bad weather is a factor in the crash.

Remnants of the 0bama era.

When the effects of the new CIC are apparent, we’ll see less of these accidents.

Our President will give kind words to the fallen unlike Barry who would just fault the pilot and demean the military.

It only drizzled all day and has been sunny since around 10 AM

An F16 crashed last week in Maryland near Andrews.

The original reports said they were in a flight of three and started falling behind, then the ship started rotating and crashed. Too early to speculate on cause. The Blackhawk does have a small window for controllability without the tail rotor.

The weather was good today. Just some sprinkles in the early morning. No storms or wind.

I used to watch the guys work on those Sea Kings they had on carriers, and thought “Man, there are way too many moving parts up there!”

Flying in military aircraft has always been hazardous. Prayers for the crew and their families.
