“But, he wasn’t cooperative. That means the cop has free reign to beat the crap out of him, right? That’s usually the line we get after national police brutality stories go viral.”

Perfect! All this BS about “supporting our cops” should come with the caveat that they are “deserving of our support!” Unfortunately today, far too many cops think a badge and a gun gives them the unfettered ability to illegally abuse citizens under color of authority and subsequently get away with it. The bad news for them is that cameras are everywhere now. Just think about how this $hit on UAL would have been covered up if it weren’t for cell phone cameras. So at the end of the day, we need to support good, honest cops but put the one’s like these guys on UAL in jail with mandatory minimum sentences. Then maybe the abuse will stop.

Unfortunately, even if the entire incident is captured on video, government bad actors will still be "exonerated" when investigated by government investigators.

I don't fault United entirely. Government regulation of airlines is at the heart of this whole incident.

Further proof that there is no problem so bad that it can't be made 100 times worse by getting the government involved.

Turns out these boys were not the cops, but security personnel of a company contracted with United, in Chicago.
