I’m so old school I simply refuse to drive in places that have toll roads. Even when visiting the grandkids in Chicago. I just refuse to participate, no matter what the personal cost.
So far, anyway...
I tried taking the back roads to where I had to go in the Chicago area after tolls doubled for paying cash. I bought an Ipass the next day since I travel there several times a year. The Ipass saves me 10 to 15 bucks a year in tolls and much more in stop and go aggravation.
