Tend to agree, I’m not allowed to carry in places I feel the safety need to carry. Is that doctor afraid I’m going to pull it on them that they put up such a sign? Now I can see it in a SHRINKS office he/she has some weird patients who have no business owning a weapon.
How about 1 with NO Perfume, Colognes, Body Washes/Sprays, scents, you soaked in before coming in. I react to those, I can smell you 5 ft away, and have to get up and move. Or those who are coughing/sneezing, where are the cough masks to prevent spreading viruses and germs? Remove all reading material while you are at it.

One might as well try to sue a city because the Bowery is dangerous. That is settled law already... the police aren’t responsible to prevent squat (though there are expected canons of responsibility towards those they take into custody). If the place somehow dragged you into a danger zone that’s one thing. But if it only invited you into a known danger zone, that’s another.
America needs an attitude reset. With no possibility to choose something unwise, one has no possibility to choose something wise either. It has been forced on one like a machine.

And there is much merit in choosing to bring “disadvantaged” into association, when it is possible to benefit them and one has the will. Christendom used to be king at this, due to Jesus. When Christendom started failing to bring the Babe to the birthday party, it began to wilt and wither.
But oh dear Lord. It’s voluntary, it always was, and always will be. Heaven, as well as hell, is a voluntary participation sport, save reverence.
Oh, and where would we be today if this had happened? If Christendom had sought hard to remain (and even grow more) robust in its Lord?
There’d be a lot more love between neighbors, I can say that much. Freedom is the room to do the right thing for the right reason. This doesn’t mean to wish anarchy on a nation — there have to be some laws — but it also means that the laws can’t be expected to solve most of the problems.
I am convinced there’s something spiritual behind the perennial grudge match between black and white (to put it in grossly approximate terms). Sins of yesteryear attracted literal evil spirits, and bidding them depart requires positive faith in God who desires and helps to bring about the opposite of what these spirits want. These spirits give continued momentum to yesteryear’s sins, resulting in white people who feel it’s just and right to not care any more, and black people who feel they are still under horrible oppression. It’s not enough for the official letter to be propitious to them. The spiritual environs need to be propitious too.
I am optimistic about the direction we are moving in with President Trump’s election.

I am always heartened to learn about such things.
Trump personally is as visibly gung ho about the Lord as any president in recent memory. Which is, on the surface, odd for a man who never before was personally very religious. But maybe he has now found his temple, and it is to the Lord with an altar in Washington.
This law removes the government shield against the consequences of the business’ actions in disallowing concealed carry. How does not protecting the business owner against the natural outcome of their action equate to socialism?
It’s a nod to something that wouldn’t happen except for activist courts.

I disagree that this has anything to do with freedom of association. This is simply linking the act of disallowing concealed carry with the natural consequence of disallowing it, should something happen.
The business owners are not prohibited from exercising their freedom of association - but they are not shielded from the consequences of their actions, either.
What about suits against "may issue" states (NJ is a prime example) that refuse to do so, leaving law-abiding citizens defenseless? Everyone concerned should apply in order to be declined, so they have standing to sue if they are robbed or injured by an assailant.
And here's my problem with so-called gun rights organizations: I don't see them stepping up to pay the legal costs of people who use an "illegally" carried weapon in self defense. They appear to be spending it on lobbying, IOW, buying lunches for legislators. Unconstitutional gun laws need to be constantly challenged, and they ain't doin' it!
My copy of the second amendment does not bar crazies or even freed felons from bearing arms. If you can't be trusted to be armed you should not be running around loose.
Dollywood has a no weapons policy but I have carried there for years. No metal detectors and I carry on my person. They have started searching bags in some cases. If I plan on riding any roller coasters I will leave my weapon in the car as I had one about slip out while inverted once. It was a revolver in a pocket holster. I felt it move and placed my hand on the pocket and stopped it. Last ride of the day for me!
Outback steakhouse in Sevierville is a no carry zone. According to their little sign they love gun owners but leave it in the car. Well if I am packing oops missed that tiny sign, if I’m not well I guess you pay if anything happens to me when I could have stopped it Outback.
I like the law. If a business is going to take it on itself to dictate my defensive posture to the point of being disarmed then you are telling me you have taken on that responsibility, either in the way of providing physical protection or in the way of compensation to assuage your feelings of smugness and PC.
True, but we have idiots who don’t know the difference. Or won’t lock up/institutionalize/execute the Bad people.
Or judge us based on a medicine we take. If Big Brother had their way I’d not own a weapon. I take Valium twice a day 10 mg, FDA set limit’ for Fibromyalgia and Meniere’s. Meclizine the normal med for that doesn’t work. Have for 9 yrs, I neither get high, or giggly nor am addicted. I go from level 10 pain to level 5, and it stops a Meniere’s attack that the Meclizine won’t. I can stop on a dime, if I want the level 10 pain or the Meniere’s attack to continue. The hospital ER learned that one with the very first Vertigo attack.
