The SA-5/S-200 is a Soviet surface to air missile from the early 1960’s. The four rockets on the sides are solid fueled boosters that burn for 3-5 seconds and then separate. The canted nose on the boosters may be there to cause them to fall away from the main rocket after separation.

The S-200 does not appear to be very effective, especially against an adversary capable of electronic defense measures. Libya used them against U.S. planes in 1983 without success, it’s unlikely that the Norks would do any better.
